latest update-Feb 27th :)

Hmm..feels like 't was long back since I last blogged.Incidentally it also means that I wasnt bored of late.In fact, last couple of weeks has been pretty interesting.

Trip to Delhi on Feb 3rd week was real fun!Though it took me abt 2 days to get used to the quite low(10 deg) temp at nights(which I have never been in before), after that it was real fun.

Places with historical link always excite me and IIT-R was no exception.Huge campus...many new buildings..lots of studens..very few girls [:(]..spacious hostels with inet.. .The DOMS' seniors were very cordial in helping us with accomodation in hostel and other routines. It was a good experience.

And you know, as soon as I reached Chennai I was sweating on a fairly cool night(by Chennai stds.) weather wise...Dosa n Idli tasted delicious after days naans and rotis (with daal) and I am starting to feel bored in Chennai already.Am in a sort of a conundrum whether to go to Blore or to Nellai now. Will decide soon.

Guess what?I have seen 3 movies already..
'Theeratha vilayatu Pillai'-poor performances,patchy direction etc...Forget it!

'Vinnai Thandi varuvaya'- Personally, I am not impressed with Gautam's attempt at pure romance genre(unlike kaka kaka).Though Varanam Aayiram was OK(may be bcoz I am Surya's fan) VTV was boring. The sound tracks, back ground scores, locations(of course) were all mesmerising.I would give 2.75 pts out of five.

karthick calling Karthick-- This was an interesting movie which in hindsight seems like a simple story but it was engaging while I saw.Farhan's performance was outstanding.Dont ask me abt Deepika..Given a chance,I can ogle at her legs for the entire movie and not get bored :).But I seriously felt she has acted in this movie rather than just trying to convince you that her legs are longer than you thought...But my friend with whom I saw the movie seems convinced that the movie is great!

laters,
Alex.S
