21 Jan 2010--A look into a day in my life!

Hmm..It's 21st Jan 2010 and 3:33 PM 25 sec and counting now...Why I am telling you this??Bcoz am bored!Bored like hell.So I thought I would scribble abt how the day went..So it will be!

The room was full of Jasmine's fragrance as sweet as her.she was sitting opposite me looking as spicy as the biriyani we just had.It is amazing how girls could look so pert even after a long day.Hmm,I wonder if girls should thank the cosmetics or the cosmetic business should thank them! It was around 11:30 in the night and we were just done with our dinner in 'You name it' restraunt and now it was time to go home.And when she puts that gorgeous smile on her face (perhaps) for one last time before we depart,something struck me!What was happening??I want to kiss her!Oh,common.. I cant!Well... Why not??'cold war in the mind' uff!!Tring tring..Tring tring...Now what?Who knows!!May be I would have known what it feels like to kiss a girl if my cell didnt ring!

My hands scrabbled for my cell..It was still dark..Well,was it really?After denying several requests from my brain finally I decided to open my eyes slowly...There was'nt any big difference (because the windows were still closed).But now the ringing stopped.And here begins a new day and I have to get up :(. These days, with no exams I am just waiting for GD/PI calls from B schools and last 5-6 days has been boring like hell.So this one's going to be yet another one of those long boring days as today being a weekday and I am the only one vetty(approx. translates in English to 'useless') among my friends..

Someday I feel like taking coffee like today and I had one from the nearby tea shop.Saw under 19 WC for sometime while the test match had started by then and India after messing up their first essay with the bat had clawed back into game against Bangladesh.Watched cricket for abt 20 mins..It was not interesting.Then I woke up my lappy and thus my day started..Time then was about 11:00 AM and I did not have my break fast yet!Then what followed was the usual boring old routine and if anything was different today it was this writing which i am writing now.

Well what I started off as a light/timepass write up has got a bit emotional I guess.And as I am writing this India has won the first test match against Bangladesh! Aal izz well! :).see you in a different post.signing off...

IPL heading in to an exciting (last) week!

It is getting very exciting as we head in to the last week of the IPL and still any of the 6 teams(except Delhi&KKR) are in the running for the remaning 3 semi final spots after Delhi has already qualified.The last 2 days saw 3 very closely fought matches which could have gone either way and still the table is finely balanced!With the gap closing and teams swaping positions with every match I guess some *heart breaks* are in store for some teams this week! On Wed(13/5/09) DC looked well set to win the match till Symonds and Gilli where going in full flow but lost track in the end to loose by 12 runs against Delhi.Yesterday Hayden was in his elements as usual(he has amassed 486 @ an amazing avg of 48.6 so far..) as Chennai got off to a flier yet again but when he left the crease with Chennai at 101/4 off 13 Overs they collapsed to 129 which was chased down by BRC(thanks mainly to Taylor and V.Kohli) with 2 balls to spare but certainly it was not as easy as it looked on the score...

[Movie Review]Avatar--a real dream!

After days of viral fever and a marathon exam schedule,I was tired mentally and physically when i lay down on my seat!And soon I was seeing floating mountains,wierd flying creatures,bright neon like glowing structures,exotic flowers u have hardly seen before,a tree of souls through which u can speak to your forefathers and many more...The dream was chimerical.The dream was pleasant and eye catching.The dream was 'Avatar'. But sooner or later though you have to wake up and you just cant ignore the facts . The same old hackneyed story of 'Man Vs Alien' and the same old characters we have read and have seen in many old classics.No price for guessing what Cameron was concentrating on in this million dollar venture.This is not a movie made on just a wild thought.This is cerebral.In this 3 long hours episode he introduces us to a unique/wierd race and as the protagonist learn from the female lead in the story abt their traditions and culture you would too but after abt 70/...

MOM : BOLLYWOOD MUSIC REVIEW

                            We in India tend to forget that the film music composers are giving us film music albums and not their own music albums.I always hear my friends say ARR hasnt done well in this album when they dont get any melodious love song or a rock/metal rhythm song etc. I thought I will review MOM movie's music (more of a first impression really) and see what happens..  O Sona Tere Liye: A typical ARR adagio melody about a mom's wishes for her daughter that slowly grows on you with an enduring quality. Yes we have heard it before but the way he blows freshness in to every song is amazing: It was the same window; It was the Same season; It was evening again; but today the wind was magically different!
